Upcoming Professional Billiard Season

On November 29th, 2012 the World Professional Billiard League will have its first 132-match, multi-city competition season. Season participants include teams from all over the U.S, and Canada, as well as 36 of the world’s top players.

Why is this such a big deal? Because this is the first time, in competitive billiards history, that there will be a legitimate, professional season for this activity. Sure there have been tournaments in past, but we’re talking about a full-scale professional season here. This is the very first time that teams are being organized, and a set schedule is made to follow for a billiards season.

All matches will take place in the new official WPBL arena constructed in Las Vegas, Nevada. Some information you might be wondering about: Team names, logos, jerseys and team rosters are yet to come, but should come out shortly.
