Benchmark pool tables seem to be exclusively sold at Billiards.com. They do seem like pretty nice tables and its a plus they are made in the USA with real hardwood. However, I haven’t been able to find if they use real slate or not, so I suspect not, which is a bad thing if you are remotely serious about billiards. Also, these tables are a bit overpriced and don’t come with free shipping. You can spend less for a comparative table that is customizable with free shipping at PoolTables.com, which sells Spencer Marston brand tables. Probably a better buy for you in the long run. They do actually use 1″ diamond honed slate.
Review posted by ColinI purchased a Benchmark Denver model table, they do have real slate. 3 piece 1″ diamond honed slate. Great quality and they build em’ here in the US.
